We are glad to inform you about the issuance of our new Technical Annex according to UNE-EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2017.
We have extended the scope of accreditation according to the:
ACCREDITATION PROGRAM: “PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL TESTS OF OLIVE OILS AND OLIVE POMACE OILS” (NT-70.06) *.
The Accreditation Program covers all the physical-chemical tests necessary for the quality and purity characteristics of olive oils.
The fundamental objective of establishing this Accreditation Program is to provide clear information to the market and, where appropriate, to the competent authorities, that the laboratory, beyond being accredited in specific tests, provides an integral accredited service that includes all the tests of quality and purity control of olive oils subject to commercial exchanges (eg export) and which must comply with the established technical specifications, more in line with the demands of the market and official control requirements.
To be qualified for the program, the test methods must be standardized methods (eg those set out in Regulation EC No 2568/1991, the methods adopted by the International Olive Council (IOC) with the reference IOC / T.20 and that they are mentioned in section 11 of its Commercial Standard, ISO standardized methods or AOAC methods).
Thus our Technical Annex includes the determinations that apply to oils and fats in general that we already had accredited and now also makes explicit mention of the olive oil accreditation program.
We have also renewed the Recognition of the International Olive Council for another year as an “Advanced testing” physical-chemical laboratory for the current period 2019-2020, just pending to receive the current Certificate.
The entire LJBLAB Team is committed to quality and customers satisfaction and will continue working hard to mantain the high standards that allow us to offer the best service.
Thank you for your trust.
